Access the Training Packages Section
Navigate to the Learning section in the portal.
Click on "Training Packages."
Click on "Add New."
Define Training Package Details
Title the training package (e.g., "Forklift Operation").
Select the type of training:
Optional Training: Select this for non-mandatory training.
Induction: Select this if it is mandatory for all employees.
Site Induction: Select this for site-specific training.
Set the expiration period (e.g., 24 months).
Choose between "Guided" or "Unguided":
Guided: Participants must complete elements in a specific order.
Unguided: Participants can complete elements in any order.
Set permissions to determine who can access and assign the training (e.g., everyone, contractors, specific teams).
Add Training Topics
Click on "Add a Topic."
Enter the topic name (e.g., "Forklift Training").
Optionally, add a summary.
Click "Save" to update.
Add Training Elements
Click on "Add Element."
For videos:
Select "Video" and upload the video file (drag and drop or browse).
For quizzes:
Select "Question" and choose the type (e.g., True or False).
Input the question and correct answer.
Click "Save" after adding each element.
Repeat as necessary to add additional elements or page breaks.
Publish the Training Package
Once all elements are added, click "Publish" to finalise the training package.
Assign Training to Groups
Navigate to the "Groups" section under the Workers menu.
Select the relevant group (e.g., "Forklift Operators").
Click on "Add Training."
Search for the newly created training package (e.g., "Forklift Operations Training").
Set a completion deadline (e.g., 14 days).
Click "Add Training" to assign it to the group.
Notify Participants
Upon assignment, participants will receive a notification upon their next login regarding the new training.
Ensure that the training package is thoroughly reviewed before publishing to prevent errors.
Double-check permissions to avoid unauthorised access to sensitive training materials.
Set realistic deadlines for training completion to allow adequate time for participants.
Use templates for common training packages to save time on future creations.
Regularly review and update training packages to keep content relevant and engaging.
Encourage team members to provide feedback on training materials for continuous improvement.
