Editing Existing Forms Using the Updated Form Editor

In this video, I walk you through how to edit existing forms using the form editor. I demonstrate how to edit the content of the form, including adjusting field types. Please remember to save your changes and hit publish at the end to ensure everything is updated correctly. Let me know if you have any questions!



 

1. Access the Forms Page 0:00

  • Open the forms page in your application.

  • Select the form you want to edit and click the pencil icon. 

2. Edit Form Details 0:15

  • Click the edit button next to the selected form.

  • On the right side, you will see the form details:

    • Change the name of the form.

    • Add a subheading.

    • Adjust visibility settings (e.g., make it publicly visible).

    • Update revision dates.

 

3. Adjust Submit Permissions 0:33

  • Modify the submit permissions for the form:

    • Choose who can view or submit this form

    • Also, prevent them from viewing submissions.

 

4. Save Changes to Permissions 0:40

  • Click the save button to update the settings.

 

5. Edit Form Content 0:48

  • To edit the actual content of the form, expand any of the sections of the form by clicking the down arrow.

  • Select the input you want to change (e.g., location).

  • Modify the field type as needed (e.g., change to a paragraph).

 

6. Save and Publish Changes 1:19

  • After making all necessary changes, click save changes.

  • Ensure to hit publish at the end to apply the updates.

 

7. Verify Updates 1:38

  • Check the updates to make sure they are reflected in the form as you wanted.
