Creating a Site Specific Induction

Here is a video of how to create a site-specific induction for one of your sites.
If you prefer to read through the steps after the video, there's a step-by-step guide also.

1. Accessing the Induction Feature

  • From inside your account, click on 'Learning' and then 'Inductions'.

  • Note: The 'Add New' button is only visible to admins and not visible by default; request it from Worx support if necessary.

2. Starting a New Induction

  • Click on 'Add New'.

  • Choose whether you have a SCORM file or not

3. Naming the Induction

  • Name the induction (e.g., "Cornerstone Tower Site Induction").

  • Specify that this is a site-specific induction that needs to be redone every 12 months.

4. Setting Induction Requirements

  • Choose who the induction is required for by checking the relevant boxes.

  • Click 'Save'.

5. Adding Topics and Elements

  • Add the first topic.

  • Click 'Save' and 'Update'.

  • Add an element: the actual induction package (e.g., a PDF file).

6. Uploading the Induction Package

  • Select the file type (PDF, slideshow, video, etc.).

  • Set a review time (e.g., 60 seconds) to prevent skipping.

  • Drag and upload the file, then click 'Save'.

7. Adding Acknowledgement Question

  • Add a question titled 'Acknowledgement'.

  • Set it as a single answer question (Yes/No).

  • Ensure the correct answer is marked and click 'Save'.

8. Adding Additional Elements

  • Add another element (e.g., an image of a site plan).

  • Set a display time for the image (e.g., 5 seconds).

  • Click 'Save'.

9. Publishing the Induction

  • Once all information is added, click 'Publish' to finalize the induction.

10. Activating the Induction on the Site

  • Go to 'Sites' and select the relevant project.

  • Access the site ledger and open the dropdown menu.

  • Click on 'Inductions', then 'Update Inductions'.

  • Select the newly created induction (e.g., 'Cornerstone Site Induction') and submit.

11. Signing In to Complete the Induction

  • Attempt to sign in to the site.

  • The system will direct you to the induction page.

  • Complete the induction by waiting for the required time, clicking the acknowledgment, and proceeding through the content.
