Site Emergency & Evacuation Feature

Site Emergency & Evacuation Feature

This article describes how the Emergency Alert feature works in Worx Safety.
A very quick summary of the process is as follows:
  1. Someone logged in to site activates the Emergency Alert
  2. They choose whether it is a drill or a real emergency.
  3. A SMS gets sent to all users logged in to site, as well as members of the Safety Team group. If this is a drill, the text will mention this.

  1. The site will now go into evacuation mode, and all signed in users will need to be marked as accounted for.
  2. Once site is safe again, the supervisor can mark site as safe to re-enter and work can continue.
Here is a video showing the process:

This feature is optional, so let us know if you don't want it included in your portal.

As always, if there are any questions on this, please raise a support ticket so we can help.

Have a great day!
